DTB – DGI meeting on evidence based HEPA programmes

From May 26-28, 2010, representatives of the Danish Gymnastics and Sports Associations (DGI) are visiting Deutscher Turner-Bund (DTB) in Frankfurt. This is the start of a long series of bi/multilateral project exchanges of the SANTE project taking place throughout 2010.

 

DGI and DTB are meeting to share experiences on evidence based training programmes within health enhancing physical activity (HEPA). The meeting in Frankfurt takes point of departure in best practice HEPA partnerships (e.g. with the insurance sector), and will explore how DTB’s year long experience can serve as an inspiration for DGI’s ambitions of developing a corporate holistic health policy. The days in Frankfurt will pay special attention to how a holistic back training concept can be organized, where various DTB programmes (e.g.  Pluspunkt Gesundtheit) will serve as inspiration.
